Since the price drop the 3DS has been on fire, see the latest record the little machine has broken...
The 3DS managed to sell 1,492,931 units in the month of December in Japan. This has broken Enterbrain's all time record since it started tracking sales in 1997! The 3DS has now claimed the top sales spot for seven months running.
The 3DS is also now not only out-performing the original DS's first 9 months but also the Wii's! If that doesn't show the machine has legs I don't know what will. I wonder if the "Nintendo is Doomed" rubbish will still continue?
