According to the source, Nintendo intend to give gamers the ability to download and read books, newspapers and magazines on the Wii U. This would also include player guides, instruction manuals and every issue of Nintendo Power.
All of this would be readable via the Wii U's tablet controller and come with a searchable index. Nintendo also apparently want this feature to land on the 3DS, and would also use a cloud system to mimic what Apple have achieved.
