For those of you who are lucky enough to not know who One Direction are. They were the final group standing on last years series of the UK TV show The X Factor. They were created by Simon Cowell after failing to make it through the audition rounds as solo acts.
- HMV has joined forces with X-Factor band One Direction
- exclusive in-store give-away
- August 22nd kicks off the event
- One Direction band member Liam will have his Mii distributed as a QR code on the One Direction Facebook and Twitter streams
- Friday August 26th the rest of the band will become available from HMV stores
- QR codes will be handed out on postcards available to every customer who buys a 3DS
- also available to existing 3DS owners
