Today I had a meeting with an Activision Rep who had prototypes of the figures which work with the Skylanders game.
Activision have made them themselves rather than outsource to a toy manufacturer such as Hasbro or Mattel.
They're hoping to launch mid-October.
The packaging itself looks really bright and smart.
Its about 8cm tall with card backing coloured in yellow and blue, with a clear plastic cyclinder pouch containing the figure.
The rep confirmed that the figures are not stuck to one platform once used, so my level 5 Spyro could be used on your Xbox 360 version of the game.
The game itself looks like a lot of fun!
